4x former keepers
Owner 1 from registration (19/04/1982) - Mr Chris Baker - Boston Lincs
Owner 2 - not found out yet
Owner 3 - Mr James Alan Watts acquired on 12/06/1986
Owner 4 - Mr Jonathan A'Brook acquired in 2006 when James Watts died - although log book shows 20/08/2014 (he lost V5 and registered it to sell it
Owner 5 - me - aquired car on 14/11/2014 - I bought off a trader that was keeping in a field in Enfield

Last MOT 01/02/2013 - with no advisories - mileage 40,962

Owners 1,2 and 3 kept car serviced for it's early life and up to 14,000 miles ago - Owner 3 Mr Watts had car for 20 years and apparently (according to his God Son Mr A'Brook) traveled 6 miles per day backwards and forwards to work around Guildford - this would account for it's low original mileage.

Owner 4 Mr A'Brook inherited the car from his God Father in 2006 - he used it daily locally around Kentish Town, North London and a little further afield - in those 8 years it covered approx 14,000 miles. I bought the car from a trader in Enfield as discussed and when I contacted and spoke with Mr A'Brook he apologised for the cars condition saying that his God Father passed it over in fantastic condition - he had just used it and kept it out in the elements as opposed to his God Father who had garaged it or 20 years - Mr A'brook was a very polite and helpful gentleman and was happy to discuss his previous car over the phone.

I have had the car since 14/11/2014 and so far have swapped some items off my other SE6B to include - wolfrace alloys, front/rear shocks/springs. The engine is sweet and when warm holds around 55 psi - it all looks very original BUT you can see it has been looked after - chassis very good/radiator cover/spare wheel tray in great nick/everything electrical works/original paintwork as you see in pictures needs sorting/interior very good, some wear to drivers seat BUT still intact/fuel tank good/axle no noise/auto box sweet/blows from both manifolds and down pipes are incorrect/front suspension is good with bushes ok/brake discs ok/drums ok/handbrake ok (needs gaiters though)

With some fettling this car will become "my car" - I have the following to do and have bought parts already from QRG who are brilliant:

Replace timing gear with steel one
Replace Solex with fully refurbed WEBER 38DGAS
Replace manifolds with S/S tubular versions
Replace ALL Cooling pipes
Eventually replace ALL bushes with POLY BUSHES
Discs/Pads
Re-spray
Replace front seats with XJS Cloth versions
Powder Coat Wolfrace alloys

Very excited - I plan to swap Ball Joints/Track Rod ends in the next month and try and replace Handbrake cable gaiters with Bike caliper ones if possible - anyone done this - as said handbrake cable fine and works well so do not want to do that just yet - once this is done I will take for MOT and Insure/Tax and then drive to events/noggins

Finally that leaves me with a donor car - see my picture gallery and posts - SE6B Auto LKJ 225V - the wife wants rid - so if anyone is interested let me know - open to offers (phone me if you wish 07880 007 404) - my plan was to break it and keep big bits like axle/gearbox/engine/rack etc

Will keep posting updates - see pics below
