Great pics. & car looks lovely.....Probably not a bad idea to 'tuck her up' as am pretty familiar with the roads around your neck-'o-the-woods, having lived in Brassington & Earl Sterndale & got fond memories of commuting to Buxton all-year-round..... :roll:

..you're right about the roads, I commute from Ashbourne to Wirksworth and every day there's an encounter with something or other... :?
usually farm or skip related...or holiday makers...or...living in Brasson you'll know the dance.. :wink:

what a nice looking car .with "period " tyres rather than low profile jobs .I just wish my 5a looked in as nice condition .

Nice thing happened this week... chap down the road works in his family run garage in Ashbourne, mentioned to him that the Scim needed testing and I was a bit pressed..

No problem he said I'll pick it up in the morning and drop it back on my way home.

Got back in the evening, car on the drive waiting for me with a years ticket on the passenger seat. 8) Only charged me 45 quid into the bargain.

It's a great feeling isn't it! I took my daughter and her mate to her junior prom in my C it got more interest than the porkers amd limos (much to the other parents annoyance due to the amount they paid to hire them!)
