It's a lovely car and Ireland is as a wonderful place. Ring of Kerry would be good.

Lovely pics of, at least, Portrush, the Antrim coast, Balintoy and round Strangford (though a petrol station ain't as nice as some of the views around the lough  )
Great to see JOAN on a holiday. Maybe I should aim to get over there in my Scim, and visit the wife's relations someday.

I think there is something very refreshing about seeing a 5 series GTE with tidy styling cues in a soft clean and subtle colour.

I see JOAN very much as being brisk and tidy thing, which seems very in keeping with the driver.

Those wheels look so good with that body colour.

Agreed.
More specifically...nice wheels, good lowered stance, front spoiler, door mirrors in keeping and webasto roof open in the sunshine.

... (and any one who does away with the webasto in the course of restoration is a criminal skinflint IMO).

If only all GTEs looked looked that. :)

Thank you for the positive comments all. It's a nice car and the styling is the work of the previous owner. I've simply had the engine breathed on and then enjoyed the drive!

Having been fortunate on a few occassions to drive this gorgeous car can confirm it does go as well as it looks, only problem not I have is that my 5a isn't really going to be up to matching it.
Thanks for the loans Trevor, appreciated
