RIP Jack Sears

Post by CNHSS1 » Sat Aug 13, 2016 3:56 pm

Just reading of the death of Jack 'Gentleman Jack' Sears at 86yrs old. He was the 1958 saloon car title and was a regular at BTCC events even up until recently.

My memory of him was being presented with a class win trophy at a B19 sprint, I think at Hethel in Norfolk, his home town

Another sad loss from the days of real motorsport.

A sad loss to motorsport, a member of a great motorsport dynasty, being the son of Stanley (particularly noted for vintage and veteran cars) and father of David (noted both as a driver and team owner). He will be much missed.
