It’s a terrible disease isn’t it. Most know that Sarah has been undergoing radiotherapy and chemo for nearly 2 years now, they’re calling it palliative chemo as it’s in her lymph nodes, so make of that what you will. Sarah’s dad was a heavy smoker and had lung cancer in his 70s which went onto his brain and took several months. My dad had never smoked and had Liver cancer aged 59 - Ill for a fortnight or so, then in hospital for just four days when he was eventually diagnosed - I still don’t know which is “best”, the short sharp shock or the long lingering uncertainty.
