Red top engine, so a Robin 850 or a Rialto 1?

Ant? I’m guessing 3 wheels as I’m sure there’s more engine bay space on the 4 wheelers

We got there in the end.

Does anyone know if the engine would be of any use in a car ?
Could a Reliant enthusiast make use of it?

Cam profile is different. Basically meant to produce peak power and torque at 3k rpm.

Whatcha want for it? Make a good conversation peice...

Mystery Reliant

We were having a clearout at work and it was destined for the skip. I hate seeing mechanical things scrapped when they can still have some life left in them, so put my hand up for it, sorted the paperwork with my manager and brought it home.
Back when most of my job was as an industrial firefighter and emergency response manager, I acquired it from the local brigade when our Coventry Climax model bit the dust. Now that we spend much more time and money on prevention rather than cure, it's no longer required. I last ran it about 10 years ago, but it has been dry stored and the engine turns freely. I'll drop and replace the fuel and see if it'll run, then either offer it up to a Reliant 3 wheeler enthusiast or fire brigade enthusiast (yes they do exist).
