Not sure why I keep doing this to myself....

Post by Lukeyboy46 » Tue Oct 25, 2016 10:26 pm

I keep buying crap old cars, just because I fancy one...

Not sure why this appealed but it's immaculate and due to land on my driveway after 13 years slumber in a nice warm garage.

Needed something to soak up some miles in comfort and style...

May I be the first to applaud your choice; I like it (2 litre isn't it?). Mind you, I once owned a Marina and loved it, so I wouldn't listen to me.

Just slipping out of my beige anorak after a stroll back from Dorringtons armed with a specsavers voucher in my hand and I can report the hansom beast is indeed a 2.0litre

You need to book in for therapy ;-)

Or a fitting for one of the special jackets that allow you to hug yourself and do up at the back :-)

They are comfortable and pretty economical for the age
Fairly well assembled and only really mocked because of who made them
I still wouldn't buy one personally though

What will the beans grow into Craig? :p

It's the 2.0l Gsi non turbo, t - model engine, not a bad engine by all accounts, they also drive well too.

My dad used to have one when I was younger, so I remember it as being a nice car.

If I hate it, I got it for not a lot of money, so I can always get my money back after a good polish and service. I
