The middle one could be a Slice front cover ;)

Here, here! Portrait shots on the front cover of Slice always look best IMHO.

Thanks guys :)

I'm very happy to ping Terry the originals of the photos, although the car has been on the front cover of Slice two or three times over the years. And it really needs an article to hang the pic on, but life has got in the way recently and I haven't penned a piece in ages...

But the colours on the B2141 from South Harting to Lavant in West Sussex if anyone knows it, just tucked below the South Downs, were stunning this morning.

Simply stunning - I think it is rarer to see a Sabre on the road than a Middlebridge!!

Indeed, I've never had a coincidental encounter with another Sabre in all the years I've known the cars - whether in my Sabre, or my daily runabout. The nearest was when by chance I came across Tony & Jaki in their Sabre Six convertible on the M42 when I was driving GUE, but since we were both heading to the Sabre weekend in Buxton I don't think that really counted :)

Neither have we, but we have been subject of a "reverse" sighting. We were on the M42 with RUR several years ago on our way to a meeting when, unbeknown to us Tony Seddon, the car's previous owner, saw us from the other carriageway in his company car. Apparently he nearly drove off the road in surprise.

Very nice pictures Chris.

Yes, good photos – and Yes, a portrait photo always looks better on Slice front cover – and Yes, I do need text to inside to go with the cover picture – but it does not have to be that many words or that long a piece :)
Cheers,
Terry
