Silverstone Classic 25/26 July 2015

Post by Simon Drabble » Wed Jul 15, 2015 8:26 pm

Hi - just to say we are racing the Sabre Six in the Pre63GT race on Sunday (11am) and the Battle of Britain race Saturday afternoon and Sunday last race.
We have (fingers crossed) solved the condenser issues we had at Donington and Silverstone back in May so are hopeful for a good showing!
We will be based in the old paddock so do come along and say hello!
Simon

Good luck for the weekend. It looks like you will be busy.

I'll be there on the Sunday so will come and say hello.

hi Simon,

wont make it again this year as it clashes with the SSSC hillclimb weekend at Loton Park.

are you bringing the Sabre to Curborough for the Sprint? I think Danny may bring his green Sabre and maybe John Leslie, be good to get a few battling on track at Curbs 8)

Hi Simon, Looks like an action-packed weekend in store! I shall be there all three days, so I'll look forward to seeing you at some point over the weekend. Good luck, and hope it goes well! :D

thanks. In truth Alex, my son, is quicker than me but he is 30 years younger and almost 20kg lighter!

The Pre 63GT grid suits the car well so I am a little perturbed to see it with 35 car grid rather than capacity 55. I hope they continue with the series.

The Battle of Britain race is a bit formula libre so its anyones guess what happens. Alex will be doing that solo as I will be in my Jaguar. As we are staying on site this year I will definitely find time to come and say hello on the stand. Are you same place as before, down by the Farm roundabout?
