Who was Adrian Ball?
I'm not certain of his official title, but I think he was effectively Reliant's publicity man / graphic designer for much of the key period. Many of the brochures, Owners' handbooks, etc., say something like "Designed by Adrian Ball & Associates" on them.
Yes, Roger is correct, Adrian Ball was Reliant's PR man and produced the Reliant Review News papers.

Here's a list of Scimitar GT magazine articles I have so far
Dave are there any colour pictures of AUE38B in its early days , just wondered if it was always brown ? Not the best colour for a prototype car that you want to show off.
Hi,

Sadly I don't have any colour photos of AUE 38B from the early days, only from early 1980's when Barry Herber owned it. All the magazine articles I have of it are in black and white.

Cheers

Dave

Here are the cars that I have owned !

I have details of others somewhere but need to look them out.

Registration number TWY 151 F
Chassis number 400697
Colour registered Silver - however it was brown when I owned it and it had Non standard wheels fitted ( Cosmic )

Registration number OTG 21 F
Chassis number 400582
Colour registered Green - This car was a very bright green and in a very poor condition when I owned it

Registration number ATN 48 J
Chassis number 425118
Colour registered Blue - Believed to be possibly the last Coupe made - now owned by GW - the car was totally original and intact

Registration number ORE 243 F
Chassis number 400 ?
Colour registered ??? - however it was white when I owned it and it is already on your list.

Registration number CRE 801 E
Chassis number 400457
Colour registered Silver - however it was blue when I owned it and was sold in a dismantled condition and is already on your list

Apologies if these are already noted.

Thanks Steve, that's great

TWY 151F I had no details apart from chassis no
OTG 21F I have in Derbyshire, not sure why or when
ATN 48J I did not have the reg no! though I have your name against it in 2011
ORE 243F is chassis 400819, I have as sold to Nick and on the road 2018
CRE 801E I remember well, did it ever get transformed into a TVR?
There are photos of the last two only.

Have you approximate dates for your ownerships?

That one is a bit promiscuous - after Nick it went to Corky for a while before moving to Devon (I think) and through the hands of a few dealers.

I'll see if I can improve quality in due course ...

Prompted by the sad death of John 'backpain' I have been researching again.
Found a 'before' photo of his car's rebuild, there's one 'during' on the site but I haven't an 'after' (yet).

Next a white car with the rare cat option 8) , there is enough of the reg number to identify it as probably PMT 314F chassis 0704
There are three or four other possibilities but none of them has been seen for 30 years so not very likely.
There is also the (unidentified) car Phil Morley was restoring which may be the same. What happened to him - and his cars?

Next a light blue V8 Coupé looking remarkably like ATJ 777E - which is a V8 and used to be light blue.
On the other hand the fuzzed-out number plate suggests more DSW 722F, Chris Bone's old car which hasn't been seen since 1991.
What do you think?

I see in Slice Matt lists 512 Coupés on the official register, we have compiled (yes 'we", everyone has contributed enormously) about 712 ...

Thanks Roger, one of my spies told me -
and it is a car which was on the list but without photo, so another useful discovery.

They seem to be behind schedule with the renovation, I hope they haven't chucked it back together too quickly.
Paint looks good (although I would prefer the original Manhattan Blue), dooor seals are badly done ...

Price estimate is reasonable for an almost-finished project

This one already sold and on its way to Belgium, new owner Emile Robyns.
Chassis no 0013 last seen in 1988, and no previous photo so another to tick off

I thought I'd better update the register and photos on my site - but HostPapa have transferred everything to a new 'hosting platform' and apparently my computer can't find it.
I have actually done the update, but you 'll just have to take my word for it for the moment.
Anyway the new photos are above and the new lists (chassis no / reg no order) are below.
There are quite a lot of new notes too, if anyone wants more details of cars let me know.
