"Was in Derbyshire. Jeff barker had it for a while..it got christened smackhead or something..it got sold on a couple of years ago"

"I SAW IT AT ARENA ESSEX IN 2007..."

"i have seen it, about october 2012 in a driveway in Coulsdon Surrey"

"built buy jeff barker named it smackhead he said he must have been on smack to build it"

"V5C got taken away by DVLA ( along with another cars that was waiting to be collected after sale )!!

The car was sold on for racing only and sometime after ended up with a dealer . Guy who bought it applied for the v5c ( cos it still had tax disc in window) and was told " Logbook withdrawn BIVA required".

He contacted me a couple of years back and I explained it WAS possible to put through BIVA . That was the last I heard of it."

"it must of been called smackhead before i got it and i recall it was a very well put together car with a tube chassis so i never understood why the v5 got took away as it was totally road worthy so probably cos it looked quite radical and mr plod just didnt get it ??"

There's actually another note replying to the last one that you've quoted, Jim, which is probably also relevant:
It wasn't what it was pretending to be ,simple as that why it got the V5C taken away. You've just said it had a full tube chassis underneath it , so it wasn't a Scimitar anymore.

The bottom two photos are from when it was on eBay somewhere around 2005. I seem to remember that it was for sale in the Sheffield area.

It would be interesting to know where it is now.

I would imagine it's in Coulsdon still - didn't have time to street map the whole town though :-)
