To get back to the long list of 'new' photos, this one is recent and shows KWF 39E parked in London this year.

It was sold in 2019 at Matthewsons auction, Thornton Dale (photo Vek Mcguire)
No chassis number listed.

Hello everyone, I thought I would add my new peoject to the register.
Ive been getting the history from my uncle who is the owner and were doing a joint effort restoration of his car
so the engine was built for race/rally and only used 2/3 times as it was too heavy to compete with the Ford YB turbo engines
bored to 3.1, 4 barrel holley carb, oil cooler, stainless exhausts, electronic rev limiter and fuel pressure regulator.

Im still investigating the state of the car but itll be a full tear down rust removal and repair.
looking forward to it!

Welcome to Loopy Coupé Land Raymond.
That looks a good base for a resto, as long as the chassis isn't as rusty as the engine bay.
And if it's chassis 0809 that is a new one for the list :-D
I can't read the number plate though, THE / THL ... ?

And I notice on adding it to the register that it is the next one listed after mine (0804) 8)

Hello there.
HIL 3820

My uncles the second owner from new. The first owner was an Irish chap so that would explain the NI registration.

The engine code on the chassis plate doesn't match up and havent verified that just yet. The majority of the rust is the chrome parts.
Underneath is pretty good. Surface rust from what I could see on the lift. However leaks from diff...
Should be good fun!

Ah, I hadn't thought of a NI registration, thanks Raymond.
If the chassis is ok you have real potential there.
Leaky diff is normal (that's my excuse, anyway).
A 4 barrel Holley is spectacular - has the engine big valves and a serious cam to go with it?
Peter Aston has three twin Webers on his Coupé and that seems to work quite nicely ...

I'm thinking it will have considering the other changes... i can't verify that because the engine was fitted over 20 years ago. My uncle Alan is on the hunt for the engine paperwork as he had dyno readings for it aswell. Somewhere...

That car is not far from my house and has been parked there as long as I can remember.

It did move in 2019 to a local garage 50 yards away for a couple of weeks but is now back in the garden...

I did see it driving about years ago when i wore short pants more often :D
