So, checked my stock

All 2528 types.

Checked snotty - 2528

Checked Megan - 2528

Checked number one - 1695 😮

So I’m pretty confident that superflex have it the wrong way round - but when did they change?

My box of spares could be from any number of cars from SS1 #54 to Sabre #2117.

If the comments from Jim and RR are correct (and I certainly wouldn't bet against them! ) then the 1695 don't fit any cars, and their only sales will have been to people who've bought the wrong ones in response to incorrect info, and then either not used them, or modified them as Alan suggests? If they've stopped making the 2528, then they've actually stopped making not the "early" or "late" but the "all" fitting  .

(as an aside, are they bespoke to Reliant?)

The parts manual clearly shows a 2528 type too, so I’d hazard a guess that only the prototypes and very earliest cars had 1695. They’re very easy to modify, so I won’t lose any sleep over it :D

A quick google suggests both numbers are small sports specific (which was a bit unexpected!)

Just checked 7 pairs here. All fit Bush 2582.

Just checked the Chevette ARB brackets I have and they are indeed the other way round.

What possible reason could Reliant have had to mirror the bracket design?
Hopefully, I've a couple of opel/chevette brackets too!

Perhaps they were worried about intellectual property issues - wasn't there some IP problems using a modified version of the Les Ballamy chassis design?
