Should be similar. I have in my head a figure of 10kOhms per metre of length?

Thanks Phil, that’s what I hoped. Out of interest, what is the cable made of? I expected it to be copper, but an internal investigation of mine just showed what looked like cotton threads. Is this right?

As for a replacement, where would folk generally go?

HT leads are a carbon-based thread IIRC.

I think leads have been discussed a while back and it’s either genuine Nissan (if you can find them) or Magnecor - and don’t bother with anything else.
