DOOR OPENING

Post by PeteScim » Sat Feb 03, 2018 2:30 pm

Having replaced door catch mech both bits form RPW what I need to finish job is the little metal retainer (adjuster) that screws onto the pull rod and fits into the hole in the catch mech thus linking the inside handle to the opening mech. Also any hints to help make sure the rod stays in the inside handle as its come out again and without drilling out rivets positioning the rod and re-riveting each time I cannot see another way, anybody over come this ? in 17 years of ownership think Ive spent more time pratting about with this set up than anything else, help please.

Similar used on the Reliant Rialto / Robin.

SS1 for setup is an art that needs practice!
