The motor drive relays that provide a brake when the limit switch opens (R5 & R6 on an SS1) are mounted on the armature beside the motors - so I presume there's only one on a monobody (SST/Sabre) and it's either going to be by the motor or possibly on the inner wing. It's definitely not in the fuse/relay box.

• Guesswork and replacement of components until the problem is discovered
• Using a logical method to trace any faults by means of elimination
