axle upgrade

Have you documented a Scimitar related procedure and would like to share it with others? Pictures are most welcome!

Scimitar axle
Hello everyone, could some technicaly minded people help with a request I have regarding Jaguar Differentials ?
I have been told that a differential from an xjs v12 differential (2.8:1 ratio ) would fit into a scimitar axle casing using the existing half shafts etc . Is this so? and what are the widths of these axles from hub to hub and whichIs specific axle should be used?
The reason for asking is a project I have needs a replacement axle with a ratio as close as posible to 2.8:1
Thanks in advance
Steve
