Help needed after 5 years of laying dormant!

Post by pmallinson » Thu Jul 18, 2019 11:09 am

Hello

Please can you help me identify some bracket etc and where they fit on a GTC.
The two long flat ones in the picture I'm certain came from either side of the transmission tunnel just to the rear of the front seats , but cannot find any corresponding holes for them? The other two brackets I just can't remember.
The second photo may or may not be scimitar parts or just some tat was given to me by PO as a mod he was going to do ?
Help much appreciated especially photos of where they go [image][/image]

Not sure on the flat brackets but the 2 with the plastic knobs look like rear seat catches.

The first, right angle type bracket in the second picture looks like it could be the rest for the driver's left foot that attaches to the transmission tunnel on automatic cars (and possibly manual cars as well ? ).

Thanks guys the second photo is the rear seat securing brackets and fasteners, these were removed by PO and hence why I couldn't remember! I think you may be right about the foot rest although mines a manual ? But maybe was converted from auto?
I now know where the short flat one goes (it goes in the bottom of the centre console box to fix the console down) so it's just the 2 with 3 holes in them and as said I'm certain they fit either side of the tunnel but cannot find just where hence a picture would be great they are same on the GTE as well I think

I think they hold the carpet in place on the lower rear footwell.
