Scimitar GTC Stainless Steel Exhaust Rear Silencer

Post by Rob Jones » Sat Jun 02, 2018 9:54 am

Good morning All,
Another quick question, I have replaced the full exhaust stainless - do the rear silencers come LH & RH or are the single handed.
Both of mine from the rear view, have the hanger's on the LHS?? supplied new from main supplier.
Rob..

Hi Rob
Totally dependant upon manufacturer.

Some boxes come without welded on hangars and a bolt on type was supplied, so up to the fitter if he had the hooks equal, facing out or in.

Hi Mark,
The rear silencers have the hooks welded on, but both on the same side, I would have thought, they may have been handed as the exhaust is LH and RH. I think, I shall call the supplier and query, I may have two of one, when it maybe one of each required 😂😂
Thanks
Rob.

Ok Rob

I think you'll find they welded them all the same way, makes manufacturing easier as only One Jig required
