Smartfeed Issues

Post by PeterSM » Sun Apr 09, 2017 8:46 am

Smartfeed seems to have changed. I have been using Feedly for some time and recently it stopped working.
If you go to the smartfeed page smartfeed_url.php and generate you get this url http://www.scimitarweb.co.uk:7080/sgwrs/smartfeed.php which does not work. Edit it to remove the Port and it does work smartfeed.php (I have edited both urls to remove the php data.

Have I missed something?

Can confirm that it is another manifestation of a problem that appeared yesterday. There seems to be some incorrect modification of URLs to include a port number somewhere in the system. I'll be spending a lovely sunny Sunday at the computer coal-face to try to resolve it!

Smartfeed Issues

Post by tony.idle » Tue Nov 21, 2017 2:09 am

Started 2 or 3 weeks ago. My RSS feed disappeared. The link I'm using generates this response:

[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/vendor/s9e/text-formatter/src/Renderer.php on line 20: DOMDocument::loadXML(): Extra content at the end of the document in Entity, line: 42

Last attempt a couple of minutes ago.

Help!

Regards

Tony

Smartfeed Issues

Post by Ian » Thu Nov 23, 2017 12:36 pm

That same message appeared when I tested it this morning. I've just updated the Smartfeed software to the latest recently released version and it seems to generate and test OK. Hope it's solved now.
