Help required; any Scimaritans in/around Sussex?

Post by penfold » Thu Nov 26, 2009 10:38 pm

I've got a hardtop for my SS1 but unfortunately it's in Sussex and my transport has suddenly gone sick. Are there any good Scimaritans in or around the area who would be willing/able to collect this weekend and store it for a week? It's near Brighton. The vendor needs the space and is getting understandably crotchety.

mods; I wasn't sure whether this should be here, or in the SS1 or Scimaritans sections. Please move if required.

Never try and argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you based on experience.

Hi, I'm not all that far from there, and could store it for a week (if you don't mind it stacked on end in the end of the garage), only problem is the only way I've got to transport it is by taking my own hardtop off, and driving topless (ooh err!) and then fitting this other hardtop. So I'd rather not do it when it's p*ssing down with rain! Presumably your top is OK to use straightaway? If you want to pm me some details I'll see what I can sort out.

cheers,

....Roger

I can store it indefinitely for you (near Huntingdon, Cambs) but I cannot collect it... worst thing is I was only down that way 2 weeks ago. Sorry!
