Windscreen transport Wiltshire-North

Post by ard126k » Sun May 13, 2018 10:57 am

Hello, bit of a long shot!
I've been offered a windscreen by a gentleman on here (you know who you are, Drew!) but I'm having trouble arranging transport for it. It's a bit far for me to collect, and regular couriers won't touch windscreens, so I'm wondering if anyone is planning a trip between Trowbridge/Wiltshire area and the North of England or Scotland in the near future? If anyone's willing and able I could meet wherever's convenient and contribute to fuel costs?
Alex.

Alex,
It is difficult to tell where the windscreen is from your post - "North of England or Scotland" is a very large area. And without a location in your signature also cant tell if the windscreen is in Wiltshire or up north. Can you be more specific about the location(s)? And timescale? More (and more specific) info will help those of us who regularly travel around the country decide if we can assist or not.
Cheers, Adam

If Drew can get it to me in Gloucester by Saturday morning, I can get it to Harewood House on Saturday afternoon/Sunday?

Thank you both for your offers. I deliberately left the details vague to 'catch' as many offers as possible, the idea was to firm up the geography once I'd heard. Anyhoo I have the screen, I made other arrangements after I saw that the post had been deleted from 'Wanted' - thought I must have infringed some rule or other!
