Sorry, am I missing something here? What's wrong with using Shiply?

Ask Manny from Smethwick what`s wrong with using Shiply Ha Ha Ha
Shiply is a broker service. I've used them twice with no problem. If you search the forum (as I have) you'll find that no greater respected member than Dave Poole has used them sucessfully. It seems a number of members have used them without problem. Obviously caveat emptor applies as in any transaction, and gullible or naive buyers will be vulnerable to scams and unscrupulous traders - but none of that means the basic idea is flawed. You can be ripped off in your local High Street. I'm sure neither QRG not GW would claim either to be able to walk on water, but that doesn't seem to stop members being only too happy to recommend them to others.

Just sign up to Shipley and get quotes, easy. I don't see what the problem is? I've used them many times, and every time has been brilliant. Even my scimitar from east London to wiltshire for £90. A Land Rover gearbox from Scotland for £40. Never a problem. Get a grip, sometimes something may not go perfectly. It's life. Give them a go, make contact with the driver offering the service and then decide. If he or she sounds like a mass murderer on a theiving spree, find another offer.

If of any help I'll be down there again shortly. just picked up another supermarket scheme in Droitwich so could drop off, I currently have two spare side windows available that you could have and intend replacing my rear hatch screen with a heated version which I bought ages ago so could swap with yours if in reasonable condition if you have one that is, may be a way forward for you

I have to ask? why not collect it yourself?

a few people on here seem to buy or sell things, then expect others to sort out delivery.
Scimaritans relay service is not really meant for this.
