Rolling Road Setup

Post by 6sabre » Thu Dec 18, 2014 5:48 pm

Hi all,

for anyone who is interested and in the south, Tom Airey is still operating his rolling road near Winchester.
He only works 5 mornings a week, but at 77 he has seen and done em all!!

http://www.aireytuning.com/

I tried a couple of rolling roads and got 'We cant do automatics, too awkward' (Rawles) to 'We don't do carburettor cars anymore'!! before I found out he was still at it.

He setup my Edelbrock/weber 500 on my RV8 Se6......goes like a dream now.

Highly recommend him. ( He has done 3 cars for me...first time a rally escort in 1984 so couldn't believe he was still at it, coupe in 95 and now)
I was pleased to be told its about 190 bhp ;-)

That's interesting, Steve, thanks for that. I've driven past there dozens of times, and had no idea they were there!

I've also moved the note to "Recommended Suppliers" so it doesn't get lost :)
