I don't bother emailing. I've sent quite a few and never got any response, even when I was told to send one

The imaginatively titled sean@grahamwalker.co.uk always answers my emails?

After many months I am about to get ready to start working on my SE5a here in the USA.
I need quite a few parts, brakes, suspension, steering. I have emailed Graham Wakler and written 2 letters explaining that I am in the USA but had no response whatsoever. I don't have a home land line, only a mobile phone but no international calling due to the cost.

How can I get through to them to order parts and have some idea of prices, which they don't seem to list?

Thanks

If you want to email the list and your contact details to me Gordon, I'll make sure they're aware of it.

Graham Walker seems to be a bit less reactive to emails recently...

Basically another choice for me right now is always QRG. Nigel almost always tries to cover everything.

I can understand emails are anoying for daily work and responses. But in special cases (e.g. for people from abroad) I think nowadays it is usual business.

Perhaps they are well loaded with work at GW? Or are they even decreasing the Scimi business?

BTW: Do GW offer RSSOC discounts?

I sent a request to dan the other day and got a response pretty quickly within an hour. Although it wasn't dan that replied it was his new replacement.

Well another order for £200 for my customer has been ignored, so I have put the business elsewhere. I tried to ring it through, but there was nobody to answer the phone.

I thought I would share my experience today. Phone answered quickly and gave list of parts to Shaun who put me on hold to check their catalogue.

Of the parts required only 2 items available and priced the same as QRG (brake discs and manifold studs)

Not available braided ss brake hoses, poly for front ARB drop links and EBC shoes. Quite surprised that these were not available apart from EBC shoes which are tricky to get hold of.

In the end I ordered from QRG who had everything in stock. Poly bushes were a bit more expensive than Flebay but bought from Nigel anyway to support traders.

Amazed that they didn't have braided brake hoses or poly bushes!

Although, I too ordered from Nigel last week (SS1 front ARB poly bushes :-))

Yes me too; both are available as full kits from the manufacturers. Easy profit if they bought in quantities and sold on

I think I bought braided hoses for G97 from Graham - but that was several years ago. I do wonder how much trade they're losing because Sean isn't up to speed on Graham's "unique" stores system :-)

Yep - I'm sure half the stuff in the stores is only in Grahams head, not his computer - especially when it comes to uprated parts.. I don't think there's a part number for a Sabre 2 front end (with and without inner arches), but he's got some :D
