Three good cars at today's Riverview meet, an SE6A from Heathfield (?), an SE5(A?) with Chevy (small block?) from Tenterden and a gorgeous SE4 coupe that was positively sparkling in the sunshine: JDF 497N, PKK 384R and YUK 269 respectively - anyone on here ? (the first two aren't members but I didn't get a chance to talk to the SE4 owner).

YUK has been reported on here before I think, (at that event?) and I believe belongs to the former owner of the Coupe now in the King Collection? (who is a member on here)

The other two I don't know, though the 6 was spotted in Ipswich in 2013 here

RH18 5DW
Station Road, Forest Row on the A22

Second Sunday of the month, all year, all weathers (though oddly in the past several years it's almost always dry, I can only think of 2 occasions when it's been wet).

For refreshments, Google 'Riverview Cafe Forest Row'

Folks generally start gathering around 10am and most have left by about 2pm, but people come and go all the time so it's always changing through the day. Bikers, rods, commercials, even boy racers welcome too. "Eclectic" is the word !

I would if I could, but the trouble is it often clashes with other things - Sundays "in season" tend to be quite busy! :)

The 5a is on the register. Used to have a supercharged Essex when it was originally on ebay.

Here are some more shots from the Facebook page (not mine, I could never get pix this good :( ) so you can see what you think the engine is now. The owner did tell me but he told me so much about this car and the 6A I couldn't take it all in (brain cell slowing up a bit these days...)

I've just noticed, on posting those pix, the 'extension' on the SE5A's bonnet hinges - whether to create a rear air outlet to aid cooling or to gain height to clear the air filter I couldn't say.
