Saw this really nice se5 parked up on Wirksworth market place back in March, looked so nice I took it’s photo. Seen it a few times since but haven’t managed to meet the owner.

When I spotted it on a damp March afternoon in Wirksworth, I was thinking that looks a bit nice to be out on a day like this, must be local because I keep seeing it on the market place.

I rather suspect that this particular example was restored by QRG - when I last attended Curborough a few years ago (before the episode that saw me subsequently boycott the event... ) I remember a pale metallic blue 5 (am sure it had a 'J' plate!) that Nigel had brought to display - it was a customer's car...I can remember mentioning chrome side-trim & the response being that he left it off due to the risk of damaging the paintjob - or words to that effect. I got the impression that he wasn't keen on that particular form of adornment! It did have Princess Anne wheels I remember...There can't be too many SE5's in that condition, in that colour, sporting PA wheels...

Strangely enough my ex-wife runs her now-husband's Estate Agents there, which is just around the corner...

It does have a QRG sticker on the hatch.
