On the way to Goodwood

Post by tanuki » Thu Sep 07, 2017 11:04 am

Spotted by a friend today on a belgian freeway ... a group of cars from Luxemburg heading towards UK, probably Goodwood
Shame the coupe is not clear enough to be identified

There can't be that many gold-coloured Coupes in that part of the world? Also looks to me like it *might* be on wire wheels too, straight six or retro-fitted to a V6? - enlarged the photo, and it looks like it only has one exhaust cutout, so I'd guess S6? I'll keep a lookout for it :D

My guess would be S6 #114 (I think) with a red interior and registered in Germany a fair few years ago. Used to be JLR ****

Yes, 114 has a sunroof in the pics on Matt's site. They all show the car with steel wheels, but Oliver was on here asking about converting to wires, so I think that's highly likely to be the one. :)

Someone else on the FB thread posted a much better pic ... the car had been spotted at a hotel !
That should help with the investigation ?!
German registration TRRS 965 H ... within a group from Luxemburg
I sent a message to the guy who posted the pic, it looks like they are staying in the same hotel
- at Goodwood - so he might have a chance to meet the ownver (I asked for a name & email address if possible)

Cheers
Fred
