Leicester GTC

Post by rkid » Mon May 20, 2019 12:32 pm

Just bought a running restoration Scimitar GTC and brought her back to Leicester.

Although she looks in good nick, there a bit of mechanical work needed to get her back to her former glory. But I’m sure it won’t be too long to get her on the road. I’ve fitted a Weber 38 DGMS carb, which has the engine running sweetly. I’ve now got to make sure she can stop!!! I think the master cylinder and servo are in need of work/replacing.
Her registration is KUW 754X and it has a tax disc from Penzance. If anyone has any history of this vehicle please let me know.
This looks a great club, and I can see there is a great knowledge base here, offering support and expertise.

Cheers Chris

Chris, welcome to the forum :D
This is the best place to ask those tech questions or search for answers - as a lot of us have tackled most of the issues that you are likely to have, before.
