New member on the hunt for a GTE

Post by Jc29cdo » Thu Jul 26, 2018 10:18 am

Hi all,

I am on the hunt for a Scimitar GTE located in the South West (I am currently located in Plymouth). I have viewed a few now however the ones I've seen have been a bit too far gone (chassis beyond repair). I don't mind a project however ideally I am looking for something that is on the road initially. I'm not concerned about cosmetics as I work for a fibreglass company so have the experience to repair the body. Just need it to be structurally sound and a good base for a rolling resto.

Also I'm 6ft 5" so would be looking for a SE6 however can squeeze myself into a SE5.

If anyone knows of any cars located in the South West please can you let me know?

Kind regards
Jc29cdo

Welcome :D

6’5” is going to need some mods (depending on your proportions) - have you tried cars for size? I’m thinking auto may be better as the foot wells don’t have a huge amount of lateral room?

Hi Jim,

I have driven a few SE6s and find that it's quite comfy and safe (albeit a bit snug). I'm driving a Triumph Acclaim at the moment so use to have little to no space! :D
