SS1 Heater fan

Post by myredscimitar » Sun Dec 30, 2018 1:05 pm

Anyone got an SS1 heater fan / motor they are willing to sell?

Mine has died, rendering the usually fairly useless heater totally useless. Not good at this time of year.

Same as a fairly early Fiesta I believe, but a quick e Bay trawl didn't find anything.

Or any ideas for a more modern substitute?

RPW were selling new motors - I have secondhand spares but would need to test and clean one up? You’re welcome to pop down to the workshop and pick one up?

Hi Jim

if you think you have a viable spare that would be the easiest option. where is the workshop? When would be a good time for you?

North Cerney Keith - sorry I didn’t check scimitarweb this afternoon as I was busy at the workshop.

I’ve stuck it in the boot of my car to take home as that’s easier to find than the workshop :D

PM me if you want to pop down Keith.

Looks good to me Jim. Are you in tomorrow? I could get to Gloucester pretty much anytime to suit you. Otherwise I'm free Wed or Fri morning.
