SE5 with no log book, no keys and a siezed engine - hope someone restores it rather than breaks it.

Hear, hear, Jim! I've got it in the watch-list & seem to remember that it still has the early engine......the composites could do with binning in favour of steels/original trims in the absence of 'PA' alloys...(somehow, it just helps to differentiate the 5 from the 5a...)

It doesn't appear on the DVLA database, I take it there isn't much of a problem getting a V5c :?:

nope - simple application form. The only problem would be if it came back as stolen or written off.

Looks like it's ended at £420.

I have just had a V5c for a coupe but in order to do so, I had to provide photographs, including stamped chassis number, stamped engine number, vin plate and old tax discs ('cause there were some) to get the V5, as it had dropped off the DVLA system.... not a case of filling in a V62 and sending £25 any more..... I was told I wouldn't have got the original reg back if the engine number didn't match their records either.... fortunately every thing matched for me....
I am going through a similar senario for an old tractor... with this one i had to get a letter from the club to prove build date and provide all the picture as above, even though i had the original buff log book..
