Temporary Garage Storage Required - Farnborough Area

Post by Scimitarandy » Tue Aug 15, 2017 10:31 am

I'm having a second storey extension built over my garage hopefully starting in the next couple of weeks. This means I have to empty the garage underneath, which means I have to move the SE6B. I'm not keen on leaving it on the drive next to the builders skip to get covered in dust, grit and whatever other debris will be thrown in the skip. I'm therefore looking for temporary storage for the car for about 6-8 weeks once the building starts. Obviously I'm willing to pay as long as the rates are competitive. Is anyone able to help or recommend someone/somewhere?

I'll probably be at the White Lion, Hartford Bridge on Sunday Morning 27th, and will try and ask a few of the attendees I know, something might turn up.

Met up with my contacts this morning, a very good turn-out (of course, being a sunny morning there's no excuse for leaving the classic in the garage) :) .
My contact is a Classic Jaguar specialist, has a secure storage facility so you will be in good company.
I'll PM you with his details, you need to call him fairly urgently, as he's off to Goodwood and then in France for 3 weeks.
Tell him "Philip with the Sabre Six told you to call" - hopefully he'll remember our conversation! 8)
Hope it goes well.

Philip,
That's good news. I haven't received any PM from you so something is obviously amiss. If you're happy to you could email the details instead?

At the fourth attempt I worked out what I thought I was doing wrong, it is sitting in my outbox even as we speak, hopefully you can accept delivery now!
