I saw this car around June last year and made a point of viewing the car.

A beautiful looking car and a credit to Bob, the previous owner.

Yes, Bob did a fantastic job on it, especially the hard work on the paint. This is one that got away from me in 2011 as Bob bought it before I could go to view it. After hearing about everything he had to do to it, I think he did me a favour! :D

The current owner did a lot of soul searching before putting it back up for sale, especially with all the additional work he did and the new parts he put on it.

If anyone is after a fast, well sorted MB this is well worth a look. And it is in one of the best colours (IMHO) 8)

Hear, hear! I've seen this at a couple of the Scottish shows, and it's a stunner. Great reg plate, given the 'MESS' club as well... 8)

To quote the owner - "a full engine bay detailing, along with many new shiny bits/ powder coated items, numinous stainless steel fittings/bolts, plus four New Fully adjustable AVO shocks, the list is endless. All receipts present i.e. Graham Walkers & Queensberry Road Garage, both have melted my credited card! The car has had thousands spent on it, & one very lucky owner will have a car ready to show."

I think I have a photo of the underbonnet from the Stirling show last May, I will see if I can dig it out.

Will - I would love to see that photo and if there is a recent one with the full engine bay detailing.

Just doing some housekeeping in the marketplace and noticed that this still appears to be for sale - with a reduced price? Great Christmas present if anyone’s still looking :D

I notice the exhausts which seem to be larger bore than original, but apart from that, why do you say it's 'fast' ? And it seems not to have a rear wiper. Given all the other work, why no wiper? (BTW that's curiosity not criticism - I'm not sure sure if I stand in awe of this sort of work, or whether I hate the people who do it  either way it makes my car look the humble very poor relation it undoubtedly is :( ) But as mentioned previously, all credit to the owner for the excellent job, the car really does look the business.

Right, just looked around the MB site and can see it’s sold so I’ll move this post.

Please remember to update for sale posts when they’re sold.
