Have I mentioned anywhere that the car sports a new glavanised spare wheel tray?

I wouldn't put it past Facebook to change the image link to stop cross posting - even happens on linked FB posts!

The spare wheel was a bit scruffy with badly applied multi layered paint, so I have stripped it and repainted it in Ford Silver Birch metallic. The other four have been painted grey in the past. If the new owner prefers, I do have a set of unpainted wheels that should respond to some elbow grease.

The sun is out, people should be buying convertibles. ;-)

That rim is now fitted and harmonises well with the body colour. Another rim is heading for the blaster shortly.

I am considering offers to get the space in the car park back, any interest in the car?

Being manual is likely to be the stumbling block. It would sell more easily with a proper gearbox in it.

Not really all GTC'S but nonetheless not the best sales pitch I've ever come across.

IRONY. It's not like steely and was for the benefit of Mike who has a passion for pudding stirrers. ;-)

Thanks for the clarification Andy - there were going to be a couple of warnings being issued for baiting over gearbox preference.

Mike - it's not exactly a secret you don't believe an automatic gearbox belongs in a Scimitar but this is the second time you've raised it with such visceral passion. Can you please agree to disagree and move on from gearbox choice?
