but you'd need some steel in behind to be worth while, or rely on the plastic being bendy enough to flex out of the way? I've added some angle iron and a steel box section back to chassis legs area for that reason :-)

The plastic is surprisingly capable - mine was kindly tested for me by a lady in an SUV who selected reverse, without checking behind...... :roll: :cloud:

In any case, most "contact parking" incidents are more gentle than that (presumably the same rationale lies behind the Citroen Cactus?)

It’s French therefore may have oddball styling that makes no sense to anyone. Shrug your shoulders and move your bottom lip is the correct response, I believe?
