Lovely kit, but hardly practical on a road car.

as I doubt any compie scim is worth more than £10k hardly an investment in one. better value to buy a complete car.

Flip me, I have a set of these with manifold married to an Essex. Didn't know they were as expensive as that. Better look after them.

they arent, unless brand new and come with fitting and tune-up, surely ??

Oh yes they are
Anything less than a grand and the carbs are knackered and usually 40DCNF

42DCNF are more desirable although I admit that having sold 3 setups like this , that the price is a bit high and will stay up for sale for a while
