SS1 Headlamp Motor plugs

Post by Joe. » Fri Jun 29, 2018 10:50 pm

I'm after a set of plugs off a headlamp lift motor and loom (two halves of a three pin connector and 2x both halves single pin connector.
I have replacement crimps to suit - just after the plastic housings.

Cheers

Dave

Not been able to find a source for either yet. Where did you get the crimps as I couldn't see anything from vehicle wiring products?

SS1 Headlamp Motor plugs

Hi Phil,
3waycomponents stock the Rists type E/TTS pins that fit the multiplugs and the electric window motor plugs https://www.3waycomponents.co.uk/Lucas- ... Connectors.

I've got the headlight motors out again at the moment as it started winking whilst switched off and parked up (water in drivers side motor contact box) after washing the car last week and its annoying me that the passenger side is missing the plugs as a PO had replaced it with a chocolate block connector

Hoping someones got a duff motor and a bit of loom they'd be happy to cut the plugs off in exchange for some beer tokens!

while your here I don't suppose you'd have a decent lower rad hose (passenger side) would you? the water pipe T hose you sold me is doing great but I've now got a slight weep on the next hose along and its gone pretty hard.

Cheers
Dave

Hoses and headlight motors are on the van to be unloaded this weekend all being well. Will see what I can come up with. Side decals looking good. Just needs a few additions to the back end....

Currently got one half functioning motor on mine, was considering chopping the notoriously lousy plugs off in favour of weatherproof 5 pin multi plugs. The name escapes me but they are in the drawer waiting.
