SE5 Still Wanted!

Post by Charles B » Fri Jan 05, 2018 9:49 pm

Good evening. I sent out a request for help in about May last year and thank you to all who sent reply’s and messages of luck on my hunt. However, I have still failed to find a car. I am looking for, and this is the wish list, an SE5 ideally in silver. I know that that’s a massive ask and completely unrealistic but if you don’t ask.... Since that post, I have expanded my search to any SE5 with an MOT and with a manual gearbox. Is there anything out there? Many thanks all who read this and I would be very grateful for help.
With regards and happy new year.
Charles.

I couldn't help noticing that your list doesn't specifically mention the "for Sale" section on this forum? Good cars don't necessarily end up on sites like fleabay, if they can be sold almost immediately on this forum. The one that Steve mentioned was advertised here and was sold in just over a day - good cars don't tend to stick around :) It's really essential to keep checking the "for sale" threads *regularly* if you don't want to risk missing out.

Also worth noting that there aren't many in silver, so that may be a requirement that severely restricts your choice - you are probably wise to broaden it. Also, is it vital that it be an Se5, or would an Se5a fit the bill as well?

Thanks everyone, that silver SE5 was perfect. You are all absolutely correct and I am very open to other cars. So, if there is anything about..? I will keep a daily look on the site.
Thanks very much all,
Charles.
