WANTED SE5 or COUPE

Post by scim_rebel » Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:11 pm

Hi Roy,

I might - with a wobbly bottom lip  - be able to offer you a choice of either:

1968 SE4a - Old English White; or
1971 SE5 - Nevada Yellow, automatic

Feel free to PM if interested, but please bear with me for a reply due to family/shift working commitments.

Both myself and the GTE are just outside Basingstoke but the GT is currently stored further afield.

Cheers
Carl

Previous: 1968(x2), 1969, 1970 & 1971 SE5s, a brace of Rebels plus a 1970 Trident Clipper. Does a 2004 MG-ZTT count too?

A pessimist is never disappointed...

I had arranged to go and see one today and the seller messaged me earlier this week to say it had been sold! Congratulations, if it is the same car it looked to be in very good condition with minimal work needed to get it back on the road. Glad it's going to an enthusiast.

Just an observation, Coupe and 5 are quite different animals. In effect you pay a premium for the smaller Coupe (I presume you meant V6). over the 5. Arguably this is for rarity, and styling. 5 is arguably more spacious and in some respects more advanced.

Yes they are very different cars , owned many Coupes and SE5,s but you know what they are getting rare now so wasn’t fussed what turned up as long as it was the right car
