Wtd: Period Seatbelts

Post by Oaksey » Sun Mar 18, 2018 12:07 am

Does anyone have any 60s/70s seatbelts up for grabs? Either static lap or static/inertia diagonal. Original GTE rear belts or similar perhaps?

Cheers

This is all I have, but suspect it's not what you're after:

It’s not unfortunately. I’m looking for older clasps rather than plastic ones.
Thanks anyway :)

My original coarse webbing GTE originals went to Matt G a while ago, sadly.

Might have something floating around in the box of assorted old belts - will have a look when I go back out.

Are they in good condition? Particularly the clasp?

Have you thought about using aircraft seat straps like Mark Cooper has in his Sabre6, I have the ones from my coupe but can't recall condition I'm afraid, I can dig out tomoz and look if you're interested?

There is a Britax set on Fleabay atm at £80 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRITAX-CLASS ... Sw7vVajrrf :o
Bit steep for something ideally you'd want to have rewebbed

That was my thinking. They're the wrong fixing type too, I'm looking for a single bolt fixing
