Alternator:

I have replaced the regulator on my Lucas LRA775 alternator - which is the one that was not regulating - with a known good one so it should now work OK. But I now have no way of testing it properly. It has done very little and seems a shame not to use it.

If anyone wants to chance it for £20 plus courier cost let me know. If it does not work I will refund the £20 if you are happy to pay the courier cost. It was a genuine new Lucas one (probably explains why the regulator stopped regulating) and is listed as 70 or 72 Amps. Used on Nissan bluebirds, I think. Has the correct pulley for Scimitars.

Could the people who have agreed to buy things from me who have not been in touch again please let me know if you still want the items. They are sitting, packed and ready to go and have been for the past couple of weeks.

If you have changed your minds or no longer want them for whatever reason then that is no problem at all - we have all done that in the past - but please at least have the courtesy to let me know as others may be needing the parts.

Also, a big thank you to all who collected when you said you would, it makes everybody's life that bit more straight forward.

Thought I better update this thread a bit - so here is a new photo of the remaining parts (including the boxed up air filter that seems to have been forgotten about).

The C3 box is still here for free collection. I also have new top and bottom steering joints for an SE6a with power steering (there is also some PAS rack seals and bushes - I think). Anything you see of interest (or can't make out what it is), just PM me - I will get back to you when I can.

Not sure why I have not posted this already as it could be just what some are needing.

Anyway, I have about 15L of ATF type G - that is proper "Type G" Ford/B&W spec not the thin type F or F/G. It is quite good for motorcycle fork oil but I doubt I will ever need 15 litres of the stuff.
