Oval port Essex heads

Post by scimjim » Thu Sep 20, 2018 2:42 pm

I seem to have five oval port heads (one has a manifold attached) and no car that I’m ever likely to use them in (I saved them from the skip at various times over the years) - free to someone who may use them. Otherwise they’ll just go back under the shelving (wrapped a little better than they were when I got them :-))

Jim
The parts as fitted can be used on D port heads too, only difference is the spring retainer caps which are a slightly different shape to the later heads.

Cheers Mark - I’ve got two cars with Essex engines (8 ball and Sarah’s coupe) - they both run fine and I have a spare 200BHP engine, a spare standard engine, two blocks, four D port heads, one standard inlet manifold and another with a Holly on - so I definitely don’t need these :D
