£20 - I haven’t taken the surround out yet and anyone visiting needs to be met at a local pub as the workshop doesn’t have a postcode..

Hi Jim,

Do you still have any sections of the bodyshell? Only I'm after a small repair section to repair this.

I only need the offside section and it does assume that the 5a exhaust cutout is the same as a 5.

No hurry, I have plenty of other work to complete first.
Thanks Andy.

I do have the rear section Andy - but I’m not sure that it’s the same as the 5? I can cut it out and offer it up to diesel to check - before wasting any money on postage?

Looks similar Andy (obviously the reverse light moulding is different) - remind me of your address by PM and I’ll price up postage.

Do you happen to still have the passenger door, and if so are the bottom hinge pins and door hinge bracing still attached ?

I still have both doors - IIRC I had to cut the hinges, so the pins are still there.

Thanks for the swift reply. So would you say the stumps of the hinges could be separated from the pins or are they well corroded/ seized? And does the door still have the glass and frame, quarter-light, window motor and etc all still attached? And of course what would you like for it? ( My existing lower door hinge and pins have separated from the door itself - so the door is sagging - and this may be a quicker fix.)

the doors are currently complete (although I think they're manual window versions) - Mr Bridger has already asked for the drivers quarterlight if it's serviceable (I may have another in the shed and I think I have a complete e/w setup too). I have no idea if the hinge pins would come out I'm afraid, I can have a look on Saturday when I'm next at the workshop.

Thank you, I've worked out now that the pins go into the door (rather than the other way round) which means I'll have to have a closer look at exactly what the problem is with mine, still suspect my pins have sheared off and may just have stumps in a corroded door brace - but if you could have a look at yours and see if it's solid and sound that would be a help thanks.
