The service manager at our local garage used to be a RSSOC member and has a SS1 which has been languishing out the back of the garage for many years (about 24!).
He was asking if I knew anyone who wanted it for spares. It is a pre galv car so the chassis is most likley shot but it is a 1600 and should yield some parts if someone was restoring a car and it might be saveable, but I think unlikely.
For the registrar the registration is B371 VST and if it is not on the register let me know and I will get the VIN before it goes to a new home.

I don’t think it’s on the register - definitely worth getting the VIN.

B reg SS1 for spares - North Scotland
Hi, I would be interested in the car. I have recently purchased an SS1 of the same vintage for restoration and/or repair of my SST. I'm in Aviemore so wouldn't be too far to come for a look see or collect. Regards Dougie

Hi Will
B371 VST is not on the register. If you are able to obtain them, I would very much appreciate the VIN, engine number and date of first registration, please.
Kind regards
Mike
