Well its been a while since I updated very slow progress at times due mainly to my health ,but I keep plodding on ,and last year I got my hands on a 6a that was for sale just around the corner

I changed my mind on a couple of things like the dash ,spent time and money on old dash fitted it but it looked rubbish so I had to find a replacement same with front seats

Well after 6 years in my garage and not run since 96 ish I started it and drove out of its home its been 1 step forward 2 back for months still lots of little things to sort but I am a happy owner it works :D :D
lots and lots of smoke.
alternator may be dead.
Had to fit ballast resistor like 6a
when does temp gauge move .
Oil pressure spot on.

I always stop work over winter ,never been in a rush to finish it ,in fact a couple of very small jobs left before I am content,,,.My son is getting married in 18 months and wants to drive there in my coupe which needs restoration,so The Tygon has to go and fast :doh:

At long last its mot day 2 o clock ,3rd time lucky as I had to cancel first two due to ,tank sender ,,,voltage reg,,front wipers,,Unknown elec fault,,,it was one after the other it's as if car did not want a mot,,,,wonder what can go wrong between now and 2 o clock :?
