So you finally managed to close the bonnet! :P :P :P

Is that one of those paints that appear to change color according to angle of light/sight? Lovely in any case!
Nice wheels, by the way...

So had a lot of sleeplessness over bleddy wheels and tyres. What for road, what for sprinting , what for hoonering aka the autosolo yesterday. Just over analysing. So I put these on today and went for a spin. Wow. So smooth. Made me realise I keep these for best / normal use and have a separate set for sprints etc. Sprinting and hoonering buggers the tyres up so much, its difficult to have one set to do all.

Also I did a heat cycle to try to condition these. Low pressure. Lots of acceleration and braking on the quiet main road for about 20 mins then rest for 24hrs min.

So the engine conversion is just brilliant, but still plenty of teething issues.

I’ve killed my clutch at the auto solo. It worked fine all day but the 120 mile trip back highlighted it was starting to slip. It’s is a hybrid of red top flywheel, custom plate, new old stock pressure plate, different but new bearing and modern oem concentric slave. It works beautifully, just not riding right height so has worn prematurely.

The suspension geometry is poo. Needs to go east, Sussex way.

Roll cage to fit.

The rear lsd may no longer be quite as limited as I’d intended.

The lpg tank needs to go in front of the rear axle. It’s is acting like a pendulum.

I’ve got all the Petrol Efi bits. Just need to fit.

Heater for interior. Finish carpet and other things to make her nice.

Both Door a pillars are blown. :? But passengers is bad.

But the engine is fantastic and I’ve a really loud stereo so takes away the wind noise from I’ll fittin* doors.

Okay, humour me because I must have missed it again, you told me the top wheels were MG (at least I remembered that! ) but what are the ones you have on today?

There was a Scimitar at the Stoney Stratford New Year Day show that looked that it had the same.

Mike at least you are part of the way there, just come over to the pointy side and get a decent mpg, (can the LPG tank) suspension (ditch the live axle), engine (well you have already ditched the Essex) etc . . .. .
