I imagine the clutch cover doesn’t have enough pressure
Glad your fitting a stronger clutch. I hope it’s the cure for you.

It must still be partially engaged with your foot completely off the peal then?
Thought long and hard about this Jim, and took measurements but I’ve got the other scenario. The clutch is only engaging on full depress so it’s disengaging fully, I hope. Hence ordered the 6paddle
I don't follow - the clutch doesn’t engage when you press the pedal :D

Paddle material can make a big difference to driveability, also spec it with springs otherwise it’s like a switch

Yep, I'm with James, not all paddle clutches are the same. A sprung centre for road applications.

Clutch slip at full beans, acceleration wise, not actual speed

Ah well, I drive like an excited idiot anyway so the car lurching around whilst pootling around in Falmouth isn’t going to be new to anyone

Must admit I thought it was 6 but it was all verbal, then this turned up. Is there a significant difference between 6 and 4 paddles.

Just got dressed to go down the garage then changed my mind. Think I’ll read a book.its dark and cold down there, warm and cosy in here.

New paddle clutch plate seems to have done the trick. After a 50 ish gentle miles to allow everything to bed in, she’s performing well. Managed 0-60 in 8s without any drama.

The brakes are good, but the back is a tad quick to lock up. Not daft braking, just pressing the pedal progressively harder and quickly.
