Yes to clearance issues with bottle tops and GW vented. Depending on the age (batch) of discs you may find they don't sit correctly (central) in the calipers. Unfortunately the adjustment required means you need to space the discs off the hub, not space the caliper away from the stud axle. Or fettle the calipers instead...

cheers guys

having spent hours trying to fit the exhaust which would not fit with out touching somewhere, in the end I needed the bends altering to get it right.... I may have a rethink about the vented discs....

so any one have the chevette part number for front drop links and the lower wish bones bushes I believe there are several types... I would like to start collecting bits for a suspension refurb during the winter. thanks

There are definitely two sizes for chevette arb bushes - if you look at the poly thread, the part number is the size in mm. There’s also two sizes of lower balljoint but I think the lower bushes are one size fits all.

thanks Phil, its the nearside that has some damage around the headlight and I have a new nearside corner/wing if I need it. it will be a while before I get anything done on it though. Got it home went to let the dog out before I unloaded, promptly slipped fell and broke my shoulder  ....
