The girls in Bury used to be famous for their rollers (and headscarves), Saturday afternoons shopping - I expect your Dad knows all about it!! :)
Just kiddin'
Well done with the progress, must give you a great feeling of satisfaction, seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

i'm from t'other side of manchester ...but the girls in leigh town centre were certainly a distraction on a summers day. 8) i'll be satisfied when we see 300+ though, and thats when the development work will start proper, and thanks to everyone for the encouragement. muchly appreciated

i'm making this up as i go along

Dads been working solid days getting the car back in one piece and now we have a little bit of extra time we have gone back and undone some botches intended to save us some time and get us to the missed RR appointment, ive been tarting up the wiring loom, re wrapping the exhaust manifold and painting stuff along with making a new centre console to hide the rats nest ive made  as is typical we finally found a really good textured black paint and halfords have discontinued it :x

Not wishing to sound like our very own Scimitar fashionista, Phil A, but i do approve of the black rocker cover over the 70s inspired purple

Yes I am seeing the error of my purple ways, thinking of getting the wheels powder coated black too. it is nice but I just want to drive it now, this seems to have been going on forever albeit we only started mid December because rev limit let us down.

Black wheels?

Nahhhh

Bright

Goddam

may as well own it.

But anyway Craig is right, better without the Cadburys inspired rocker cover, don't want to air the notion your engine's vital components are made of chocolate

Dad's welded the tab for the race dash onto the steering column, I took a stab at making some panels for the centre console in the spread tow carbon but just ended up with a rather expensive tile/ carbon sandwich as even whith release wax everywhere it has mechanically locked, started again this morning so will post some pictures either disaster or success.

As promised I have some progress pictures of the centre console, quite chuffed with the results given it was a DIY rush job.

I was thinking of some dash mods for G97 - can you actually reach that cutoff with your harness tight?
